Waukesha, Wisconsin Report

Good evening all!

It is Caitlin Roberts, not a person you hear from often, I know. I am terrible at

keeping people updated about life. So for those who do not know, I am currently at

Bible school In Waukesha, Wisconsin. I am attending Ethnos 360 Bible Institute and,

in general, am learning how to survive as a Bible school student.

I understand that Maine and the rest of New England is about to get hit with a nice storm projected to layer the region with 10-12 inches of snow!

I am currently writing this from the the beautiful state of Missouri. I am staying with some friends at

the Missionary Training Center for Thanksgiving. On Sunday I will be headed back to

school to finish up the last two weeks of my first semester at Ethnos 360 Bible

Institute.

This semester has been a crazy adventure of trying to figure out life in a dorm

and in classes that challenge me more than just academically. It has been crazy to

see how God is working in my life and in the lives of people around me. I have been

in awe of how the Body of Christ works and how it is connected.

Over the past few months, I have been given many opportunities that

challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone and to grow. In September, I was

given the opportunity to go to the Emanate Training Program in Ontario, Canada.

The training center is where people, who are looking to go to the mission field, go

after Bible School. We got to spend time in their Off the Grid training area. We

stayed in hammocks and huts. This trip opened my heart to really consider where

God might be preparing me to go. I have never felt more comfortable than when I

am either in a plane or waking up early and making a fire to warm up water to wash

my face. I am super excited to see what God brings into my path in the next year and

a half.

It has been such a blessing to see how aviation has opened up doors to

friendships and given me a connection to ministries that I never thought I would have.

I have met missionaries from around the world, have had the opportunity to talk to

pilots , and have seen how much of an impact aviation has on world missions.

This Thanksgiving season has been an odd one for me. It is the first holiday I

have spent away from my family. But I am so thankful for the Body of Christ and how

God has designed it. I love seeing how the body works with so many different parts.

In my personal studies, I have been working through 1 Corinthians 12:12-31. I am so

thankful for my family and friends that constantly push me to grow and desire to seek

the Lord with all I am. I am thankful for the fact the aviation has connected me to so

many people.

Throughout my time here it has been incredibly encouraging to see all that

God is doing through Propelling the Gospel. I am looking forward to coming home

this Christmas and visiting with everyone. I am so thankful for the connections God

has created through aviation and through people in Ethnos.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with those you love. I hope you

were reminded of all you have been given and are thankful for.

Many Blessings,

~Caitlin Roberts
