The Gift
Greetings,
Do you ever wonder how our christian (Bible preaching and teaching) circles did within your region within a given year? Yesterday our family covered most of all the York and Cumberland counties while traveling to and from 4 different gatherings. Our motive was to not only enjoy company, but be a blessing and encouragement, and shed some light of the GIFT. As we traveled somewhere near 150 miles throughout the day we saw over 4 closed churches… here in southern Maine. I’m not sure your reaction to this but it bugs me. Are we truly sharing the true GIFT with our region? Lets keep the doors open Maine!
We did have a pleasant day yesterday, although exhausting at times. With Christmas not behind us, I look forward to the new year of 2020 with excitement. May the Lord continue to lead us with His plan. The ministry has grown each year since 2017. This was the first year we did not do any annual inspections to fund the ministry! Can I also say that we are not lacking in funding and support also… God has surely blessed!
In 2020 we are looking at more opportunities and possibilities as the Lord leads. Maybe a second airplane, more camps, more pulpit supply, church planting on the islands….The Lord is doing some amazing things in our midst.
This Sunday our family is either flying or driving to Bethel, Maine to visit a supporting church, (the first supporting church of PTG). I am so looking forward to worshiping alongside the brethren there and also preaching the Word while the Pastor is away. Bethel is a special place for our ministry (El-Bethel “House of God”). I remember our first flight with our airplane as we crossed over the hill tops of western Maine and saw the valley of Bethel, and Glory to God a Bible preaching church was there!
Merry Christmas to you all and a happy new year!
