2 Cor. 10:15-16
Greetings from the mission field of Maine,
The day started out overcast and quickly switched over to a mix of ice and snow. We totalled around 2 inches of fresh white snow over the freshly raked green grass we all enjoyed last weekend. Today was a full day between my day job, family, and a church quarterly business meeting. A day that is totally lived out for the Lord is a full day but well worth living.
As I close out the day I am preparing a 2000 word essay on “Giving.” I stumbled across 2 Cor. 10:15-16 and felt it would be worth sharing with you. We must have hope that our faith is increased and by doing so our preaching can be done beyond our region. The first thing that comes to mind is faith promise mission giving. Our church does this every spring and is a vital piece to how we support our missionaries. This year our churches faith promise committment increased by 15%. God is amazing. Lets live a life of faithful giving through our finances, service, and every day encounters.
Please be in prayer as Caitlyn is taking her Private Pilot Ground school exam and I am preparing for Term 1 final exams as well.
Blessings,
Alec S. Kindred
