Prayer

Man, if there is ever a time to pray it is now! Recently in our immediate area we saw heart-ache and tragedy. A young lady Bri and I worked with summer after summer in high-school went missing Friday night, and sadly after a two day search and rescue effort was found in a river. We have not been in touch with this individual in a long time but sadness struck our community big-time. Also this weekend we had an incident at a local Walmart. People need the Lord, and they need Him now! Families are heart-broken, lives are affected, people are hurt, sin is raging, abusive acts are being often; all this just a week and a half after a study was completed and stated that Maine was one of the safest places to live. People need the Lord, lives need to be changed. We all do not know what tomorrow brings. People are going to work and not returning. Investing in an eternal life in right relationship with our Heavenly Father is the central purpose outside of sharing the Gospel. Why have an earthly life without eternity? A question every human being should ask himself. If you happen to stumble across this post, please reach out and do not let another day pass by without a relationship with God, as your King.

As of late things have been extremely busy. Last Sunday a team of us traveled to Merrimack Valley Baptist Church and spoke at the youth group Sunday school hour. It was a great blessing to be a part of this energetic group as this is also the same group/ church assembly I attended while in college in Nashua, NH. This group sent 5 teens to our camp last year to assist in any way.

Sunday night I departed on a work trip to Denver, CO to attend a Pilatus Aircraft Service Team Summit where I was able to connect with other service centers around the globe. Now, this isn’t ministry so why speak of it? Well, sometime I personally wonder if my current position will pull away from some of the opportunities that the Lord has put me through in the past. Well one evening at the summit I was able to sit down with a Pilatus Aircraft engineer from Stans, Switzerland. He began to speak about his story filled with tragedy and disbelief, but how a certain time in His life He was granted a second chance, and ultimately wanted to share his encouraging story by starting an aviation non-profit to encourage those who are going through tragedy. What a gateway for the gospel!!! Although this guy was slightly off about his belief system and the source, I was able to share the full gospel message to Him at this conference. I found it extremely encouraging and a confirmation as to why I am involved with management/ customer relations. What an opportunity!

Upon returning while in the Denver International Airport, I experienced extreme dizziness to the point I do not know if I was going to be able to get on the flight, only 25 minutes from departure to return home that night. After consuming 3 bottles of water at hot pursuit I was able to brave the flight home, but it was no easy task. Please continue to pray for this weird experience as I have experienced this dizziness everyday since last Wednesday. Thankfully my wife is a nurse. Aviation is a funny thing and medical records are critical. I am praying it gets better before I have to go to a doctor where this phenomena will be listed on my medical record for the remainder of my life. I am praying it is just an inner ear inflammation, as both my kids had ear infections and my wife had a head cold as well. Be sure to understand, if it does continue to develop and present itself as an issue I will be going to visit a doctor.

Next Saturday, Lord willing, I am planning on doing a prayer flight over Long Island, Maine. This will be the beginning process of starting a small Bible-study on that Island this summer. Next Saturday Bri and I will also be attending our churches Agape dinner for couples and I am so excited for this time of fellowship with other couples.

My classes are going well. I am really enjoying Hermeneutics and Connecting with Children. These classes especially are helpful with preaching and studying, and also connecting with my children. Bennett, our oldest is signed up for school and also filled out a short survey for his flag football season coming this fall. These are all exciting things, but relationship is everything.

Just wanted to provide a quick update. Take care.
