Hope in a time of crisis
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Today I begin a new term at South African Theological Seminary, so you can say I am rather excited this morning. It has been such a blessing to be on this journey for more than a year and a half now. One of the only constant things during this virus are my classes and I am thankful for that.
Boy oh boy yesterday was a powerful day. Flying a total of about 500 miles south and north spreading the hope and love of Christ through giving and dispersing groceries and masks for those in need. Many unbelievers witnessed practical application of love and hope and we had many opportunities to share the message of Christ with them Praise the Lord!
Today those families and organizations will wake up readily equipped to do what they need to thanks for the Lord’s provision, your hard work and efforts, and your support. Sharing hope is one of the best things we can do during a time like this,
We had a very blessed Easter Sunday, although looked very different, we enjoyed it. These days are quite unfamiliar. My wife is working 6 days a week now at a COVID clinic while I work 4 ten hour days to cover child care. I am thankful for our healthcare professionals and I see my wife get home each night just totally exhausted. We can still glorify God and find much hope in Him with joy and peace.
Have a blessed day today and love your neighbor. We are preparing another load for when a need becomes present.
