Be Glory and Majesty!
What a beautiful name it is! What a beautiful day it is to praise His name!
I wanted to share a little about what the Lord has been doing.
The first quarter of 2021 we served at the Pleasant Valley Bible Church in West Bethel, Maine. At the time they did not have a Pastor and the Lord saw it fit to have us attend and fulfill the pulpit. I thoroughly enjoyed preaching through the book of 1 John. Recently we were made aware that village missions had found a new Pastor for that local church, in tow a wife and a few wonderful children. I am praising the Lord for this answered prayer.
This past Sunday I had the opportunity to share an update on our ministry at the New Covenant Baptist Church in Berwick, Maine. After the update I finished up the composition of 1 John in chapter 5. I thoroughly enjoyed worshipping with that church for the morning hour.
Recently my classes have increased and i have enjoyed every second of it. I am taking these third year level classes: Genesis, Homiletics, and African Christian Ethics. I am looking at about 6 months of school left and am thrilled to what the Lord is doing in our midst.
Another church called last week about needing pulpit supply. I am realizing this is a branch of our ministry that the Lord is opening up to us and I am grateful to have the privilege's to open God’s Word and share the beautiful message. This Sunday I will be speaking at our home church, the West Buxton Baptist Church.
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. - Jude 1:20-25
