"batach"
Good morning brethren.
This morning I sit in my office with a nice cup of coffee, my Bible, and my textbook as I am working through Regeneration, Justification, Adoption, and Sanctification. What a true blessing it is to have the inspired Word of God. This morning its a new day, and I take a deep breathe as a sigh of relief.
Yesterday was a long and difficult day. It seemed that everything was going down hill every which way I had turned. My day began at 4AM, and ended at 8PM. Yesterday I found myself taking our oldest to his doctor for a sore throat. As a result we found ourselves going through the motions at the COVID clinic. This was extremely eye opening and a very unpleasant experience. Our Bennett not only had to be swabbed for Strep Throat but at the last minute, COVID also. I was hurting with him, but I saw him buck up, trust the Lord, and be brave. He made it through that awful test. I have to say I was in awe of how serious this virus still is that is going around. We praise the Lord that Bennett’s test results came back for both Strep and COVID as negative. He must have inhaled a few too many gallons of water while on the Lake the other day.
I saw bravery through my Son, and this is the second time this week I have learned something from Him. I am excited about the future my boys have and how the Lord may use them both. This was so encouraging to see during a time that even I was fearful about Psalms 56:3).
As studies continue, work moves forward, and ministry is still ever needed I look ahead to the remainder of the year. I have been praying fervently about how the Lord would have us move forward. Are total strangers open to people like us approaching them face to face with the Gospel during this pandemic? Will it be effective? Will it be more damage to our communities? These are the questions I have struggled with. Our support is currently quite low, and we are finding ourselves evaluating where we can save and if we can drive more often which is totally fine because God has allowed us to do that. It is a time that as a ministry we need to put our full dependence in Him and trust Him through the trials and harder times, and be thankful through it. Our board will meet soon about how we move forward with camp as it appears we should be able to. Hangar Bible Nights will continue as scheduled as we now have two airplanes to work on in the hangar. The Lord is good and we are trusting Him as we move forward daily stride by stride. We are praying we can get back to flying for the sake of the Gospel very soon as the Lord leads.

*FYI I am no longer on Facebook as I came to the conclusion that the 2-3 hours a week I was accumulating on social media was more worth spent in areas like my Wife, Children, and studies moving forward. You can still email, text, or call me. Bri is helping me keep the PTG Facebook page running and you are still able to send messages to us that way. Have a blessed day.
